The Problem

While Birmingham has grown, it’s done so despite a dysfunctional city government. Our city is at a crossroads, and our problems will no longer be ignored.

Frivolous spending, lack of transparency and accountability, dysfunction between the city council and mayor’s office are now commonplace.

We have some city leaders that are more concerned with raising their pay than bringing good paying jobs to the city.

Our infrastructure is crumbling, many of the voices of our citizens are being ignored, and our leaders seem to divide us rather than bring us together.

These are just a few of the problems that our city is facing. However, it’s not too late for a change. Imagine how much our city can grow with a government working together. Check out The Movement, and the The Plan to see the vision that will get Birmingham moving in a better direction.
