Jeremy Schatz was born and raised in Birmingham to a working-class family He has worked for everything in his life, just like his family. Jeremy became the starting punter at the University of Alabama and graduated with a bachelor’s degree in Psychology. After a brief stint coaching, Jeremy wanted to do something more for his community. He decided to enroll in the Birmingham School of Law. Jeremy excelled in his study and earned the Judge Hugh Locke Memorial Constitutional Law Scholarship, along with graduating as salutatorian of his class. Since 2012, Jeremy and his wife, Megan, have lived in Crestwood North.
Jeremy has had an eye on Birmingham’s blossoming future with the hopes to serve the citizenry to ensure everyone in the district shares the success the city is having. He hopes to instill his vision of a more unified Birmingham that will strengthen every community, in his district and throughout the city.
By living and working directly in the district, Jeremy is equipped with the experience and familiarity of the diversity within district to handle the problems that face D5 as it moves into the next phase of growth.
